The Vision
The brief here was simple but demanding: a proper home library and study for a client with a serious book collection. We wrapped the room in floor-to-ceiling shelving and built a generous wraparound desk beneath the window, turning an ordinary spare room into a calm, studious retreat.
Warm walnut carcassing and desk surfaces give the room its studious character, lifted by two-tone gloss cabinetry in crisp white and deep burgundy. A desk return makes the most of the corner and neatly conceals the computer tower, while integrated shelf lighting and brushed-steel handles finish the room.
