Clifftop Coastal Kitchen

The Vision

Perched on the coast with sweeping views out to sea, this home called for a kitchen that made the most of its setting. We opened the room up to the view with a run of windows above the worktops and skylights overhead, keeping everything bright, calm and full of coastal light.

Hand-painted cream Shaker cabinetry is paired with speckled granite worktops and a white Belfast sink set beneath the window — the best seat in the house. A cream range cooker, pewter cup handles, painted tongue-and-groove panelling and open shelving on hand-forged brackets complete the look, grounded by a warm stone-effect floor.
