Country Farmhouse in Teal

The Vision

Set within a characterful period property, this kitchen was designed to work hard without losing an ounce of the home’s heritage. We kept the exposed-brick chimney breast, reclaimed stone-flag floor and beamed ceiling, and wrapped the room in deep teal in-frame cabinetry that feels as though it has always belonged there.

Traditional raised-panel doors are hand-painted and finished with satin-nickel cup handles, while speckled grey granite worktops and a matching splashback add practicality and depth. A white Belfast sink, a statement black range cooker and an American-style fridge-freezer bring modern function, and the original cast-iron range in the brick inglenook is kept as the heart of the room — all anchored by a generous reclaimed-timber table made for gathering.
