The Vision
This open-plan space was reimagined as a galley-and-peninsula layout that keeps the working kitchen neatly zoned while flowing into a relaxed dining area. The brief was warmth and character without losing light, so we set a deep, Parisian blue against crisp white walls, veined quartz and pale wood-effect flooring for a look that feels unmistakably coastal.
Hand-painted Shaker doors are framed by tongue-and-groove panelled ends and finished with satin-nickel cup handles and knobs. Veined white quartz wraps the worktops and upstands, with a full-height splashback behind the hob. A run of integrated appliances — a Bosch oven and induction hob beneath an angled black-glass extractor — keeps the lines clean, while an undermount sink, oak floating shelves and soft up-and-down wall lighting add the finishing touches.
